Cosmetic Dentistry

Cosmetic dentistry is aimed at creating a positive change to your teeth and smile. Most people think of tooth whitening or veneers when cosmetic dentistry comes to mind, but a cosmetic dentist can provide much more.

We can help to improve your appearance, your smile, your confidence, and even your self esteem. Today, cosmetic dentistry has continued to evolve to where cosmetic dentists can address functional and esthetic patient concerns.

Porcelain Veneers

They are thin shells of ceramic that cover teeth to close gaps and eliminate imperfections. If you have stained, chipped, or misshapen teeth and want a completely custom solution to rekindle your smile, porcelain veneers may be right for you. We use pure ceramics, fabricated from natural feldspar . This ceramic has a natural fluorescence and inner glow, and beautiful value, just likes the one we find in young teeth. Veneers are minimally invasive. They require barely-visible tooth preparation (0.2-05 mm). In cases where patients have small teeth, or teeth with spaces, there is no need for any preparation, and we can use non-prep veneers. Prep-less veneers can be used in additive cases (small teeth, teeth with spaces, after orthodontic treatments) Prep-less veneers can only be used on natural, intact teeth. This type of veneers requires no tooth grinding. Technically speaking, they are no different from normal veneers. They have the same esthetic properties and longevity. In many cases, veneers can be used in conjunction with prep-less veneers, depending on the design of the future smile. As prep-less veneers require no tooth grinding, there is no need for anesthesia, the procedure is completely painless, and has zero post-op sensitivity. This type of veneers can only be used on healthy, intact teeth, and since they require no tooth grinding, there is no need for provisional. Treatment has 3 steps: design, impressions, and bonding of the restoration. The esthetic impact is immediate.

Using teeth whitening to create a whiter smile is one of the easiest and most affordable ways to enhance your appearance. Most people experience teeth discoloration over the years as a result of aging, smoking, or staining from food and drinks.

White teeth and bright smiles are rare as we get older, which is why whitened teeth are so remarkable and attractive.

Based on the reason for your discoloration and the condition of your teeth, different methods of teeth whitening will have different results.

At Smile Dental Care, we offer three types of whitening to best address your unique needs. After a personal consultation, one of our cosmetic dentists will help you choose the teeth whitening method that will help you achieve the perfect shade and the brilliant smile you want.
